FAQ

A book map is a detailed sheet, usually done in Excel, that highlights important themes and developments chapter by chapter. It keeps track of word count and other details to help you map out your story. It’s customizable to what elements you’d like me to focus on.

Developmental edits usually take 2-3 weeks.

Copyedits will take 1-2 weeks

Proofreading will take about a week.

All of this is subject to word count, complexity, number of errors, etc. ***Please note, if you select the All-inclusive Package, you will need to account for time to apply the edits in between each edit.

All of the books I edit will be featured on my social media and website, unless told otherwise. I love helping authors spread the word about books!

Since many authors have different budgets, please contact me for more information.

Yes, we can definitely work out a payment plan or discuss your budget.

No, in the book editing world, copyediting and proofreading are different. Copyediting does much more than just check for grammatical errors. You also fact checking and create style sheets to help with proofreading.

There are a variety of reasons I may not work on genres and topics. Most of it is personal, and I ask you to respect that. I do have other editors, whom I love and trust, that I can recommend if I come across these issues. You need someone who can 100% commit to your manuscript.
