Meet Allyson
From a young age, I picked up reading very quickly. For heaven’s sakes, I skipped kindergarten because I started reading (ok, ok, I was attending a British primary school in England and their grades are different than ours in America). But I fell in love with books and devoured them.
Fast forward a few years and I was introduced to the world of theater. From writing and performing my own plays with my friends to participating in high school and college shows, I loved being involved with theater.
Now as a mom of two adorable boys, I have passed on my love of books to them.

Some extra, fun tidbits about me

I’m a singer and dancer. I love to sing and currently sing in a local choir here in the Washington D.C. regions I also love to dance! I’m a volunteer teacher with MOM-entum Dance Troupe in Maryland and danced my way through college on one of the Brigham Young University Ballroom Teams. Does that make me a triple threat (singing, dancing, and acting)? Probably, but not a professional one.

Sadly, I am not from England, although I did live there for a few years growing up. But I do love a good British accent (can I have one, again, please??) and all things British (especially Regency and Victorian periods…sigh…)

Allyson with Regency romance books.

I’m a wedding/event hair stylist! I love helping someone feel special on their special day.
